Talk about a *pretty boySpeaking of pos saws, started porting a top handle saw. Couldn't talk him out of it, I should find one of those bar tip guards and weld it to the bar. WTF are people thinking wanting this???

A guy i know put a 10hp motor on a 5hp
Logsplitter
More speed and power he said
Blew a line everytime he used it
And finally shattered the pump housing.
I got a free 10hp motor though
Nice. I keep seeing this local add. Aren't these the same? https://topeka.craigslist.org/grd/d/two-vintage-roper-61cc/6553354279.html
The 2 my boy got are early models without the decomp. Needless to say he has a hard time starting them. One had a cracked cover, and one was mint till usps broke it.Finding an intact AF cover for them is like searching out rocking horse poop. And, the plastic clutch cover.
Do not remove the comp release on them. You need it!
Lol looks like he needs to buy the right pump now.Talk about a *pretty boy

All you got to do is melt plastic over the crack. Or I seen this one thing online for auto body repair and it was a fun looking thing that held staples that got red hot and acted like a stitch for a cracked seam.
Morning folks...55 heading to 70 and damn if I ain’t under the weather with something. Body just aches but no fever or anything...
Finger port itGood morning everyone.
I'm not going to get too carried away with the request.
Best to have a sacrificial piece from another just like you are welding for to use as a welding rod. This way you nail it the first time without having to experiment with which type of rod to use.
I know a fellow that welds saw plastics with spoons from McDonald's.![]()
