You going to start relining tank barrels?
Can you think of a use for it as a mining operation Brian? They had a 15,000 pound aerial lift set up in the same building.

I guess with all the dredges set up they would need some big equipment to fix those machines. Would have like to see them in action.

The last one floating does just that as I understand it. There used to be a old video on YouTube of one running out there, but I couldn't find it earlier today.

Yep we had a great time. Did you have a good weekend John? Here is a pic of a small lathe I found in the old mining town.View attachment 112812
That's cool
In the 80s we found abandoned logging
And gas well equipment
Often after riding
Hour's into the mountain's on my tt500.
we found Some Old deuce and a half army truck's
And cable operated dozers.
Wish we had pics never thought about it.
After metal prices went up
People scrapped everything.

Modern bike's have more power we had torque.
I had 12.5/1 wiseco and aries pistons in mine with white brother's competition
Cam and valves and spring's.
Doubt i could start them now lol
Had to lengthen them 6-8 inches
To keep the front wheel down until i got to 5th
Some of my bikes are still running
My friends have them.
Modern bike's maybe 2 year's I've noticed
Before rebuild.
Plus the shimming and timing adjustments.
Mine were tough lol

Never rode a TT. But when I was 16 a neighbor moved in a few houses away with a KTM 495. That bike was ridiculous to a young 135# RM125 owner. Wish I could track that bike of his down. Would like to give it a try one more time

I don't remember any fatal accidents
On any motorcycle in the first 15 year's we rode.
Or even three wheelers.
Then when the atvs came
People started really getting hurt or killed.
My bil sold 2 atvs and they ended up crashing into each other and both died.
Freak accident.
Need more old style dirtbikes out there like the dt250 and rt360 pe250 xr250 just good easy going dirtbikes.

The pe250 was fun. My best friend had a Yamaha IT175. That was a smooth running woods bike. Man you guys are digging up some great memories.

I've been watching conquering southern china on YouTube
These 2 guys buy street 125s and ride across the country.
Those bike's or offroad bike's would be perfect comfortable 4 stroke low maintenance.
We had fun just riding all day.
Now everyone wants speed lol

I started out on a 50cc blue Suzi mini bike. When I was 16 dad got me a PE175. Had a lotta fun on that thing. Decided I'd try 4 wheels. Got a 500 Zilla, then a 250R. Then had 3 kids and bought one with an extra drive shaft
