My hometown used a new process
Weld together plastic pipe
For the mains and secondaries 10" i think.
Installed last summer.
Three shatter failures so far lol
I told the city guy's at least you'll have easy digging
With all that fresh loose dirt to move
They got a little pissy about it lol

They are installing lots of high density plastic pipe on our job site. And it is fusion welded together. The 24 inch pipe has walls about 3 1/2" thick. They are rough cutting it with a 28" bar on a 461. I guess maybe the same problems here in the future?

Glad we have aluminum. But it's a pain if it gets dented. Very expensive to replace. Lumber yard quoted me 32 bucks for a single piece of siding.

yup, and the other splitters where super pricey Brian.
I didnt pay much for my 2 other splitters, #502 51 61 01, #502 52 49 01, but out of what I heard those two is also included in your guys price drop
