First time I've personally done the head gasket on this truck. I don't know the whole history of the truck. I'm sure it has had an in frame rebuild done at some point.

Well my day just got better:cool:
The boys on afternoon shift decided they'd be nice and put the valve cover and exhaust manifold back on the old truck I've been working on. They pulled the truck outside and let it run. Long story short, they rolled the valve cover gasket which caused a huge oil leak. They ran the truck out of oil and seized the damn engine. Thanks guys:mad:

Man and I thought my coworkers were *f-wording stupid! They didnt think to check for leaks? And don't you work on semis? So that like a couple gallons of oil on the ground?

36 liters of oil on the ground. Don't know how they never noticed.
