So I fish

...or fix. if it's molded into the coil it can be successfully spliced. Find a donor end, slide shrink tubing over, solder wire together, apply silicone sealant to bare wire, slide heat shrink over and shrink on. Not the best case scenario, but will get you going again.

Might be time to try a 272

Doin muff mod on a 290 farm boss,putting a pipe on. Those 2 little slots on muff sure ain't nuff for them saws to breathe!
