Yeah, I know all about the hearing thing, in the early days I ran the those old Macs with no hearing protection and now I pay for it.
Remember what I said about 45 degreeing the corner of the popup, I didn't get as much comp as I should have and I think that is why, the next one I do I will just round the corner a bit & try that.

Good point. @Czed Dave, would you like the edge of the pop up angled, square or the just the very outside corner knocked off?

I've been wanting to try the 268 piston. What diameter do you turn the pop up?
Basicly went in 10 m/m with the cut leaving a 30 m/m diam. popup on a 50 m/m piston, the new piston was .060 taller than the stock one, now add in the .020 base gasket and took the cut .040 deep for 10 m/m, this gave me .023 squish.
This worked on MY SAW, do your own measure.

I'm sure the squish would have to be adjusted slightly but the diameter should be close enough. I'll do some measuring for sure. Thanks
