Might be the tea itself, if ya save it and take it in to be analyzed they can tell ya what it is and you can change your diet accordingly so as not to get any more.

Theres a different reboot you can do on an iPhone that involves holding the power button in either alone or with another button at the same time for a certain amount of time, like 10 or 30 seconds or something. Kinda like turning off the automatic locking doors in a Chevy. Involves turn signals, brake pedal and honking your horn for 20 seconds

If it won't even attempt to take a charge then it probably conked the computer out in it. Sometimes the phone dick's can retrieve some of your stuff, for your new phone!

Tried to do a hard reset by holding the main power button and home button at the same time...nothing.

Try all these things again, this time with thr phone plugged in to a charger. Happened to my wife once battery was so dead it would only come alive and start when plugged in. After a hard reset and charge it was back to nornalish.

Also try the Android trick of holdong power and volume down and see if that does anything.
