All I can say is Friday is his last day at this daycare and it can't come soon enough. The provider was likely in the other room and won't even be able to tell us what happened...

Large daycare facilities are such a racket. When our kids were little, we switched to a place with 3 or 4 other kids. The lady told my wife that there will be 3 weeks she won't be available, but we'd still need to pay for it. I couldn't believe it. 3 weeks paid vacation at the time was for upper end skilled labor or management positions where you worked at the same place for awhile and earned your time off. Imagine applying for a new job and telling your future prospective employer which 3 weeks you won't be coming in to work.
