Morning All./ Evening Todd. I can almost smell the weekend...

Looks like I'm vehicle shopping... Kind of a daunting endeavor seeing I have no idea what I really need. I'd like a truck, but I don't NEED one, I'm finding some pretty good buys on Tahoe's right now.

Last night I looked at a 02 Chevy 1500hd. I'm digging that style truck but she was in fairly rough shape, Michigan winters were tough on it.

I'm leaving for Texas in two weeks. Who knows, maybe I'll drive something home instead of fly.

Ross, Texas car prices seem to rise and fall with the CDN Dollar. Our dollar is down and none of our guys are hitting the auctions down there so you should be able to find some great deals. When our $$ is strong more than half the cars sold at auction in Texas and Arizona end up on a train headed north.

My boss drove a Highlander Hybrid up from Texas about 5 years ago, still in great condition and could probably sell it for 90% of what he paid back then.

Not bad at all. Just SUPER busy. Doing a renovation on a rental home that I am trying to sell and it is eating my time right now. Girls in dance, boys in tee-ball, work, yada yada yada..
I consider it a blessing though. No complaints.

How have you been?
Good pretty much same as you. Trying to keep stuff flowing through the shop plus home repairs plus kid stuff.

I love

Chevy but the newer Tahoe and suburban are loaded with many electronic items that will burn a hole ur pocket. We have a master switch on the battery now. After about the 200k mile mark all electronics will start acting up
You ain't a chitting right there I want another 91 or older straight axle!

I've never owned a Chevy. But I've been talking to a lot of guys and is looking like that's what I want.
What I do know is that I want one with the 6.0 or 5.3.

I'm finding good buys on F-150's with crew cabs. But they all have the 5.4 and I'm hearing that I need to run as far away as fast as I can from that motor
Guys I work with 1 got a 04 f150 needed a new motor 2 days after buying it.Next guy got an 05 need cam phasers replace when he bought it. All this happened in a 2 month period and trucks had no more than 120k

Only thing I would say is you got to think about how much wood it will cut in that 18 minutes Jake.
