Glad you got that chit spread Ross. How long now before you start planting? 2-3 inches or rain will set you back some won't it? I know your sanding soil dries up much faster than our clay base, that kind of rain would put guys back a couple weeks for sure. Of course we are still below freezing at night so no one is in a rush to get anything in the ground just yet...

I'd say a week. They have everything from clay to sand. Also they have fields close to 60 miles away. So rain we get there may have been little (or more) out there.

If we get 2-3" that'll set them back about a week pending no more rain.

Like you guys the past several days have been cold so the soil is quite cold. They normally don't start planting till the first week of May.

I generally try to stay as far away from the crop farm as possible. There is way to much bull chit
