Day one of cleaning out mom's house was an interesting one to say the least. I knew she had developed some hoarding tendencies since dad died but apparently it has been going on a lot longer... she used to do hone perserves, jams and pickles. It was something about that generation that grew up through the great depression I think.

When we were going through our house that we bought from Lisa's grandparents we found all sorts of home canned goods from the 70's too.

The freezer was packed full of bluegill and perch that was labeled from the 70's and 80's

Just taking a quick look here before I head out the door to go blow leaves in peoples yards. Rain is to hold off until this evening then a inch and a half is expected tonight into tomorrow morning. So won't be blowing leaves around for a while after that until it dries out a bit. Good part is it's unusually warm this morning, so I get to ride the scoot in to work.
