You must have had a bad bar, I've had nothing but good luck with them and everyone who's gotten one from me hasn't had any complaints.



A week or so back my sales rep sent me a loop of their "new and improved" Forester chain.

I've never ran their branded chain before because Carlton isn't much more so I've always opted for Carlton.

The other day I tried the loop of Forester. Carlton cuts better right of the roll. I haven't ran it long enough to dull it so I can't comment on longevity.

I see where Forester also has a new line of bar out called platinum(new paint scheme anyways) maybe I should give them another chance to be fair, but to be fair it wasn't just bars and chains it was parts as well so it just kinda accumulated into a *s-word storm. I would rather buy stuff from HL Supply(Raisman-sharpest chain out of the box I've ever saw) if I need a budget B&C. The one I really want to try out is the new light weight Laser(made in Japan) like Sugi Hara.
