Lol no I'll be getting ready to leave work when you get to work I keep thinking your 3 hours behind not just the 2
Yeah, remember I'm in the West Midwest according to @Gentleman....Lol no I'll be getting ready to leave work when you get to work I keep thinking your 3 hours behind not just the 2
I gave up on the nk but you just explained why it was much slower than the .325.I know what you mean. I put a Carlton nk chain on a regular bar and it's much quicker in up to 8" or 12" wood. Above that, you run out of chip clearance and it gets slower than .325. But they are a light saber in small stuff
You could build a totally awesome bike like this.Doing alright todd, just picked up my engine

Heading back to work Tuesday. Just enjoying tI'm home.

Good. I have to work at 2PM though.
I spent the morning at my workbench getting the grease stain off of my ban hammer.......LOL!

i had on a saw a few year's ago i thought maybe it was a bad chain or something it was much slower than the .325 i took off so i switched back but didn't look into why it was so slow.
i I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I iOne thing is for certain, the use of the word " I" in a sentence has dropped dramatically recently dot dot dot
I might give it another chance one day but i bought over a dozen stihl rs .325 18inch and 15 stihl and oregon rs and lgx 3/8 20 inch chains off a guy they were new when i use them up i might try the nk for my 257 and 261.Like any chain the gullet is very important, probably more so with NK. Small saws and small wood it should be making you smile.

Yep. It's good for sub 16" bars, or maybe sub 12" wood 30-45cc saws. I really liked it on the 026 til I tried noodling with it. Not that I'd do that often with an 026, but when I buried the bar was when I noticed it really slowing down. It would laser right through an 8" maple, but slowed down when I went with the grain.Like any chain the gullet is very important, probably more so with NK. Sorry for using "I" so many times. Sometimes it's necessary lol
(I) don't get it either. On the one (I) shortened for using a bigger sprocket, (I) drilled an 1/8 or 3/16" hole through it right into the groove. Oil gets through there like it's supposed to.Porting out the oil holes on yet another Power Match bar. They are just to small for proper oiling especially on the longer ones in my opinion. Not sure what Oregon was/is thinking here, but it ain't working.
Trouble maker I'm tellin yah[emoji41](I) don't get it either. On the one (I) shortened for using a bigger sprocket, (I) drilled an 1/8 or 3/16" hole through it right into the groove. Oil gets through there like it's supposed to.
Got it down to 3 (I)'s. I'm working on it

That the dude that ground through a customers cylinder and just patched it and returned it ?My post on the I's was a reference to jmssaws posts. Figured everyone would get that, guess not. Everyone else is fine with the word "I". Carry on as usual.
Been taking a little diamond burr and opening the hole up and flaring it out seems to be much better. Might it be so the bars and chains wear out sooner? I always go straight to the tin foil hat conspiracy theory.
I understood who you were referring to. But it got me laughing so I rolled with itMy post on the I's was a reference to jmssaws posts. Figured everyone would get that, guess not. Everyone else is fine with the word "I". Carry on as usual.
