Evening fellas,

Back to work tomorrow.

Came home to 8"of water in the basement :(

Evidently the sump pump took vacation.... luckily the furnace is on cinder blocks, and the freezer must be somewhat waterproof.. Still seems to be working.

Water made it in the furnace, with the heat turned off, must not have made it to anything important.

Maybe next time it will float away, and be worthwhile to make a claim...

Thats sucks! As a veteran of water in tje *f-wording basement spray everything down with white vinger. Its the best cheapest way to kill *s-word with out killing you.

Nothing of importance in the basement.

Other than the furnace and freezer. Everything else is up on the 2x3 retaining wall holding out the rock foundation.

From what I can tell the furnace was about 1.5" in the water, just below the first set of electronics..

Now the freezer, I can't understand that 1 bit, the temp control knob was under water. Not a single breaker tripped.?? Oh well it still seems to be working.

Other than that, had a pretty good weekend home, took the family to the zoo Sunday with the nice weather. Little guy liked chasing the birds lol
