I'm home from work today.

We took our son to the ER last night around 3. He had awful stomach pain. Turns out he's got the stomach flu. We weren't at the hospital for more than a hour when my mother in law called us to say our daughter got sick.

We got home around 5am. I slept for 3 hours to relieve Lisa so she can get some sleep.


I think it was yesterday or the day before I mentioned that I rarely ever get sick.... I'm pretty sure I jinxed myself

At this point it's to late. I guess the bug is going around real bad here. They've been closing down whole schools around here this week.

We figured it was just the GI flu for Eli, but when he was rolling on the floor because of stomach pain this morning we didn't want to take any chances with apendasitis.

Thankfully they say it's only a 24 hour bug.


Kids are just happy that they can stay home from school today. Me and Lisa will probably be down this weekend. At least the weather is supposed to be crappy. Thankfully this didn't happen last weekend when it was nice.
