173k on it, been knocking the last couple years I've had it.

Still really likes 6500 rpm. Gotta wring every last drop outta that massive 80hp (when new) 1.6l.. lol

My first jeep came with a 4.2l i6. Whopping 112 hp. I picked up a cam, 4 bbl intake and a Holley. Still wouldn't turn over 3500. Did some web browsing and found a couple plugs that went to the distributor and ignition that retarded or limited the timing. Unplugged them and she actually made decent power at 6k lol.

These 1.6 are known for being rod throwers... I picked up a replacement engine last summer, so this one probably won't ever blow lol.

Buddy of mine is doing a frame up build on his Jeep. I rebuilt the engine for him. Had the frame powder coated, turned out pretty nice.
