That saw runs awesome Kev, I love the 346's and 353's.
I can't wait to get mine finished up. She's getting a little bigger carb and boot and air filter, on limited resources. I've only been dinking with saws a few years so I don't have too big of a pile to pull from.

I just finished up grinding some chains. I figured the grinder's just sitting there collecting dust might as well learn how to use it.

Practice, patience and willingness to try new things and you'll get there, no problem.

I'm starting to think it's not how big the pile is, but what's in the pile that counts.

I just got a 199 carb for my 353. Haven't got the 357/359 intake yet but I'm gonna see how it runs with just the carb swap. Still waiting on a kit for it though.

I did a welded pop up and ported the hell out of it. It pulls a 18" 3/8 pretty good.

I mocked up an HD 12 on mine and fired it up. I need maybe a 372, 390, or 7900 intake partition, and make a backer plate to tighten the bolts to. Thinking about turning an aluminum 90° v stack like deets is doing on his solo. Then run a green weenie out the roof

I've a truck that has 3 fuel tanks, gets 10mpg for going on 30 years, and not once did I ever snivel about filling them, as it's a truck. It's seen both coasts and most everything in between. Sorry if it gets under my skin when I see people spend huge amounts of money on a new truck then do nothing but complain about how much gas it burns. It's a truck.

Bout the only thing left to separate em, they all start falling apart round 100k anymore lol.

Not really concerned bout milage either, next one will be a gasser.

Evening fellas
