I started stock a couple weeks ago. Modded muffler is worth about 7% on this saw. Ported, it's worth 12%.

i want a ported saw with a stock muffler.

He liked it louder like mine. He wears the head and ear protection when he cuts, and it's also easier for him to tell if it's 4 stroking. I could have put a deflector on the side, but this is how he wanted it- straight out the front bracket with a screen

Got the carb somewhat sorted out on the 357 now.
I still don't like it.
It's so touchy feely........I ordered a new one just to try and see if it any better.

Try a 262?

i rebuilt another power steering cylinder for a case 580 backhoe and played with square grinder some trying to get it figured out

I just finished up grinding some chains. I figured the grinder's just sitting there collecting dust might as well learn how to use it.

Just so happens that these were the straightest ones we cut. Right in the middle of a hardwoods, so they only get sun from straight up. Keeps em straight
