Well the press is hot and back to work for me just spent hour and a half removing broken screws because my arrogant engineer made the new part with course threads instead of fine. I think some time he wants a hospital vacation!

Lol, we just quoted a job to drill oversize, tap and install 200, 20mm keyserts.

Started out as just the 40 figured they might as well do em all during the weekend shutdown. Them stainless keyserts are pricey...

Anybody use rivet nuts for extra exhaust deflectors? Or for any application, for that matter

Basically a removable thread repair insert. Have little tabs ya knock in to lock in place. If they go bag you can just remove the insert, and replace it without going larger like a bag helicoil.
