Had an awesome day today fellas. Not only was the weather a spot on 75 degs and clear, college daughter and her roommate came by about 10 this morning and spent the day here. We had pulled pork sammies from the Boston Butts yesterday, three 1lb bundles of asparagus drizzled in olive oil, shot of kosher salt, and Everglades Seasoning. And a big ol' pot of green beans and new potatoes seasoned with Lords country cured side meat. That's what they wanted so that's a what they got. We were scarfing it down about 3:30. They're heading back to the campus, but I did send with them about 5lbs of pulled pork and a pack of buns...they'll have some good sammies for a few days to snack on.
