Has anyone tried using those deflectors kind of like the dolmar design with the outlet facing down on the front of the muffler i thought about welding up the 372 exhaust hole and trying it thoughtView attachment 52170 it may reduce noise.

I only put them(deflectors) on the right side of the muffler pointing forward, so the noise is aimed going away from the operator.

That's usually how I've done it thought i might try something different the dolmar 115 just seems quiet even with muff mod with the down facing muffler.
