Is it true that you guys are shotgun only in Iowa, but after January 1 it's all of a sudden ok to use rifles?

Yes only shotgun or muzzle loader.
Late January they had rifle season in bottom 2 tiers of counties, to take population down some. Don't think that it is still going on this year.

My kids talked me into putting up the tree last night.....



I guess I'm a pushover when my son who's been sick and absolutely miserable since Tuesday comes to me and asked if I could put the tree up so him and his sister can decorate it.....
