Howdy guys

I'm just about to step out of the deer stand. I had high hopes. It's been windy, I am watching 7 of them about 500 yards away upwind from me.

It's getting dark and about time to call it quits:(, even if they move to me it'll be to dark so shoot:(

Just got home from the bar. Met a couple coworkers for Taco Tuesday and a couple beers.

Hope nobody over did it today. I worked on my 1/2 chevy trying to fix my "service 4wd". What a pain.
4wd switch wires become un-soldered. Or the shift control motor/module is bad. Half tons it's usually the switch. 3/4 tons it's the module

Changed out the the switch with two new ones, changed out the actuator motor and cleaned up both grounds underneath the drivers door on the frame. Still *f-worded

Hmm. The actuator on the t case? I think there's 2 plugs with multiple pins in them. On mine, the one with 2 pins in it was corroded. But it's a 2500, and I know they each have their own symptoms

Plugs were like brand new. I couldn't believe it. No, I didn't change the transfer case. I did the donkey dick thing in the front end. Took it to a buddy shop that has a snap-on scanner and it really didn't have a lot of codes and he thought it would be the actuator in the transfer case.

If it's not that, there's really only one thing left. The transfer case control module (tccm).

Always something. Rather fix it now that mess with it when there is snow on the ground and under all the frame dripping in your face. Ugggh
