I have a brother who lives on a big spread of property right where this went down. He stays loaded to the hilt all day long working the property. Listening to him, meth/ice was bad many yrs ago, way too many unemployed sorry ass, white boys looking to batch up anything they could and cook it...and then it disappeared while the law was busting their asses every day...he says there's been an insurgence of it here lately in the past year or so.

One confirmed cop killed, other in very bad condition in a local hospital. Shooter was not confirmed dead as I said earlier...in a hospital, not looking good. I hope the SOB dies on the table he lays on. *f-worded up, sad deal right now. We always seem to hear about this *s-word and it happens away from where we live. Guess what...it can happen in my own neck of the woods, your own neck of the woods, etc. when it's close to home, and it's always close to someone's home...it puts it in a different perspective. I just had this discussion with my wife last week. She is on our local Fire and Rescue and I am looking to join too. I made the comment that I'd have a hard problem giving Narcan to a Junkie.
She's said she's seen it given to Junkies in the hospital. She said its the coolest thing ever watching a junkie come out of it and watching the pain that they instantly endure. She said its very fulfilling to see.


I believe in second chances. If a junkie OD's, give em a chance. Give them a shot of Narcan if its not to late. Get them to rehab and hopefully they get rehabilitated.

Now if they go back to being a Junkie and OD, let them lay in their own piss and *s-word.

Raw deal Jason. That sucks balls. Its a tough time to be a LEO. Those guys have all my respect. You expect it from guys in Afghanistan, but not on our home front.

Cops need better training. That dude should have been ventilated and the cops shouldn't have quit shooting.
