Do any of you guys here have any experience with the Yeti style coolers? Primarily the Yeti knock off brands?

I know Yeti stuff works and I'm highly impressed. I am willing to drop the coin on one because I know they flat out work.
I've been hearing good things about RTIC, I like that they are half the price of a Yeti, but I don't want to buy one just to discover that they don't perform like a Yeti.

I am interested in the Yeti Tundra 45 size.

I'm curious on feedback from any of you guys if you have first hand experience with brands besides Yeti.
Hang on. I just sent a text to a gal that sells these knock off yeti's. We were talking about it Sunday and I can't remember the brand. Supposedly they're exactly the same

I have a Coleman 5 day extreme or something like that. It's greyish blue. About 160 or 180 quart. It's twice as good as a regular cooler, but I'm sure it's no yeti. The secret to keeping ice in a bigass cooler is using bigass ice. Milk jugs, pop or water bottles. Put 5 milk jugs of frozen water and 10 frozen water bottles into mine and meat will start to freeze to the bottom in 2 days. The first year, I bought bagged ice. Like 12 bags over 5 days. Not any more. I buy 2 or 3 bags for mixed drinks and after 5 days at 80-90° there's still a half bag left. I'm sure one of these nicer ones will yield better results yet

I have a larger one of those. I filled it with ice and after sitting in the sun for a day in 110+ heat the ice was liquid by evening.

Granted it was cubed ice and not blocks.

These guys with Yeti's the equivalent size of mine will fill theirs in the back of their trucks with beer, water and ice on Sunday night when they get gas. The trucks never sit in a garage or shade. They are in and out of the coolers all week for water and beer. Come Friday night the ice is water, but cold water and the beer and water is still cold.

The part that bothers me about the Ozarks Brad is I see its walmarts cooler. That frightens me a bit.

Back in my drinking days I used a block along with cubed ice on a 30 pack. The block would last several days and I would drain some water, add beer and another bag of ice in between having to get another block. I wasn't an amateur at beer drinking.
