Ive been stuck up in my bucket numerous times. Most of the lifts were telsta. Genius engineers put the relief valve at the base of the boom.

My new rig has the relief valve at the controls near the bucket.

I've climbed down the boom numerous times.
About time the engineers figured that out...

We just had this discussion with sime buddies this weekend.

One of my buddies friends must operate a crane that has a remote. He got in a chair that was big enough for both of them to sit in. I guess the stick was out a ways and laying pretty flat.

They were about 20' in the air and the crane started buzzing and the safety kicked in and there they sat 20' in the air.... The remote wouldn't work and someone needed to finally come and hit the override on the truck.

When I left the farm I worked for about two months for a company that worked on and built feed mills.

One of the first jobs I was on they needed to pull a large downspout from a 175' grain leg that went to a bin. They had to get in one of these huge cranes like Deets operates to get the reach and pick it up above everything.

Someone needs to be taken up on the ball with a choker cable to choke in the middle of the spout. Guess what, that was my job......

The guys hauled out some home made seat with chains and hooked it to the hook and said get in the seat....

There I go up about 300' to get up over top of everything.....

That was a ride

Afterwords they asked if I was scared of heights
