We don't do much anymore ether.

We got a semi coming for a load of hay this afternoon.
Later we going to drop off a bunch of stuff at a friend's place. Her brother lost there house last week to a fire.

That sucks

I don't know what's up this year with fires. I know several of you guys have mentioned over the last few weeks of fires in your communities.

I know around here listening to Lisa's pager there seems to be large structure fires and house fires about every other week. Thankfully none in our community, but other departments call out for mutual aid.

Another total loss last night on the other corner of the block. Thankfully the family/pets made it out unharmed.

Less than a mile from the one last week.

A house fire literally has to be one of the worst things to have happen to a person.

Sure, things can be replaced. But insurance won't cover half of personal stuff. That's not including stuff someone may have that's got sentimental value.
Money can't replace that stuff.

We have a string of arsons here in Topeka around 20 by a 14 year old kid then 10 by another woman that should of been in the state hospital.
