Afternoon guys. Picked up my latest saw purchase. Thing isn’t all that I expected. Runs and heated handles work but a chunk missing from the front of a the PTO case half.

Not for here supposedly, coldest part of our winter is right now and it's 44°F out.

So does anyone have any MS660 cases? @Mastermind @dustinwilt68 The guy I bought this from actual seems to be willing to work with me on getting this done. Apparently he bought it from a friend of his that works at a Stihl dealer and had taken it in on trade. He doesn't remember ever seeing the hole and used the saw without issue. He sent the pics to his buddy and he agreed that the case should be replaced. Of course Stihl Canada wants $500 for a set of cases...

I went to check on the forecast of Bruce Johnson who is a MN based forecaster, he didn't have anything long term posted that I could see. Says forecasting is harder than ever now, less models being run with the US Gov't shut down.
