"An arctic airmass will bring temperatures near minus 30 to most of southern Manitoba this morning. These bitterly cold temperatures coupled with a stiff northerly wind will give extreme wind chills of minus 40 or colder this morning.

These extreme wind chills will abate somewhat during the day but extreme wind chills are expected to return to parts of southern Manitoba for Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Milder air will push into Manitoba Wednesday as a warm front approaches from Saskatchewan."

Incredibly cold weather and drunks on NYE never go well, I expect they'll be annoucing a couple "death due to exposure" incidents in the next couple of days.

what kind of snasiges? The Kroger aka Dillions here has these spinach feta cheese and chicken ones the make there that are awesome. The green color scares some off as first but oh well more for me.

I did something like that in the yard with our little Ford Ferguson tractor after a rain, I was about 8. I thought I had made some damn nice donuts. Sure would of been nice to have that old steel seat sewn in back side of my britches when dad got home. He was not impressed...

Got it for a STEAL since the new butcher fukkered up cutting it and hacked off most of the fat cap. Going to slap some bacon over the top of it to keep it from drying out.

I look at this way if you get drunk enough to make the decision to sleep outside on a day like that what's to stop you from getting behind the wheel? Or leave the stove/oven on causing a fire?

Not trying to be a total dick but I've seen plenty of alcoholics that are nothing more than a welfare burden these days.

Nothing fancy for last meal. Going to make a nice full dinner for the first meal to start the year out right though.
