It amazes me the “tree companies” that pop up after a big storm. We started calling them Scabs. Legit tree services are getting so under bid they are struggling to find find work.

Remove 4 trees (ranging from 6” to around 20”) from roof, cut to stump, grind stump, move all debris to curb and tarp roof:

Legit using a bucket truck with material boom: $2,400
Scab using a ladder: $850

That killed a guy in a nearby unit when I was in, crushed his chest in. I heard of others getting killed from it too. We were shooting bigger guns but it doesn't matter. Be curious to know if the guy in the video survived; it looks like it hit him below the sternum/heart so maybe he lived.

No different than home contractors/remodelers, roofers, etc...all ya need is a pickup truck and ladder, don't even bother with the expense of a ladder rack, not needed...and In like Flynn. Just con artists and scams!
