I ran an 400A to the shop Dallas. 200A to the house and a 200A panel for the shop. The conduits would be whats leaving the panel in the shop.
I've never heard of running every 12/2 wire to individual receptacles or lights in conduit under the slab or in the rafters for a residential job. It's code for commercial though. A whole lot of extra work imo.

My buddy had worn out rolled off bfg's on his pickup. We went up north to his cabin and paid attention to how they were on snowy roads. He switched to new coopers that looked good, AT2 I believe. We went back up the next weekend and they weren't any better than old bfg's. I'm only talking fluffy road snow. Might have had different results in different conditions

It sucks but not many other choices.
I get 60-70% of my notifications. Or get them days later then sometimes they won't clear.

I'm used to 2000 amp panels with 4 500 mcm paralleled in a three phase panel, which makes 12 500's in all. The trick to bending it is leverage. Had to use a 2x4, a sledge hammer, and zip ties to get the dead front on.

I didn't realize you were an electrician. I saw Ibew hat on your head in the gtg thread. Are you my bro? Local 90 here.
Been a long time since I messed with 500's...

You're questioning where to run your individual outlet and switch wiring? Or whether or not to run your service to the barn or to the house under your slab? NEC requires 4/0 wire for 200 amp service I believe.

I think he meant running trunk lines to a few areas of the shop then tap off that Kevin. That's what I would do anyways. Running each plug and sw in its own pipe is definitely too much work in this case.

4/0 aluminum or 3/0 copper meets code for 200 amps

They changed the pattern atleast 2 years ago. My old ones were 2 years old and had this pattern. They still had 60% tread, but my son needs tires too. I plow, he doesnt. New ones for me and sell him my old ones. These are a bit more aggressive and have some more sidewall tread than the old pattern

My dad tried treadwrights, with the bfg tread. He loves them. They are a remold on worn tires. Even says bfg on them. I think the new ones are branded treadwright though.
I'm tempted to try them for the price. But Kevin is right, can't beat the bfg's traction!
