Thankfully it has most of the parameters loaded already. And a few files.

Book says cranked up/big 120A tip it will edge start 1.5" mild steel 1" stainless/aluminum running 8" a min travel speed lol

It will pierce 3/4" plate

I have it dialed down for this this stuff (16 gauge)

Running a 60A tip. Have to order some 40A tips.

40A will do 20 ga through 1/2" mild steel, up to 3/8 stainless / aluminum.

best is to get your hearth sorted out Gary, but those things you go through after your mom passed away can produce lots issues and stress.

its a long time to wait for those two surgeries, it's the way it is.
Hope them surgeries will go super smooth for you.
Where I live we use psysios after those type surgeries for a faster rehab.
