I am so exhausted from this apnea.
When you get maybe 2-2.5hrs of sleep all broken up for so long it takes its toll.
I went to the rheumatologist today
He said I’m doing things right and is happy.
Only problem is I don’t remember the last 5 or so miles coming home [emoji33]

Been there brother, over 10 years of 2-2.5 hours a night. Melatonin (start with 3mg, up to 9mg but don’t exceed that!) washed down with a beer or a stiff drink.

Melatonin is naturally occuring in the body and is not habit forming. Its over the counter and super cheap, $6 for 180 3mg.

I don’t like being woooohoooo feel sorry for me but we is buds here and others have talked about problems so I guess my turn.

Don’t be ashamed or bashful about *b-wording about problems! Other people have gone through stuff and can provide insight and advice. We all ask for help with saws and chains and parts, why not our health?

You'll be fine Mark... just have to find the right combo. The problem is getting the brain to relax IMO.

I like my fan running for back ground noise. Seems to help a lot..

Just don't take ambien with the Turkey. You'll be down town pickin' up hookers in your sleep. Lol

I think looking back I think I’ve prolly had a problem that long but getting worse.
Ok I’ll try it.

They say be careful with alcohol with these so I didn’t want to not wake up [emoji15]

I ended up having to take Gabapentin (Neurontin) for nervve pain as I was having involuntary nerve impulses that were causing muscles to to respond to the nerve pain and causing my legs to flail. I take a Gaba and Melatonin EVERY night (usually with a beer or glass of wine) and it puts me OUT.

I have never had any side effects with “mixing” but I know plenty of people (and most are medical professionals) who wash down a Melatonin or 2 with a scotch or big glass of wine when they need them.
