I'm in N. California for a quick trip. My friend, and FIL to my oldest boy, lost his battle with brain cancer at the age of 63. So the funeral is later today(6th). Then we head back to Utah(booo!) on Saturday.

Larry was quite the man. Here's a pic of him doing one of the many things he loved.

Why does Stihl have to make everything so confusing. Going through my box of 044 stuff last night. Trying to figure out what I have and what I need........turns out I have parts of a 10mm, 12mm o44 and a oh46.... WTF
Guess I'm just gotta just go through it all piece by piece. And figure out what works with what.

it should be:
# 502 52 20 01 (flywheel side)
# 502 52 21 01 (clutch side)
If my memory is right the flywheel side is shaped so the contact area for the generator is part of how deep the seal are set.
