Yep...new head is ordered. I've never seen this before. That valve seat looked normal. I heated it a little with a torch and a couple wacks on the work bench walked it right out.

It is. Started with my 272 and thought that there was something wrong with the chain, figured I would finish with this one, it didn't fair any better. At least I wasn't beating up my good saw. Lol

Great nephew's 5 valve yamaha was near 500.00
With machine work.
Hondas are usually bulletproof.

I'm more than twice that in the motor alone on this thing. The crank and pretty much everything north of it is new now.

The coin spent on parts and machine work on the original head is now dust in the wind. Oh well can't win 'em all...
