I was about number 20 this morning. More than normal as there was a line. We have voting set up at a lot of the schools so it's hard to tell how many are going to vote today.

In July I was 1 block away in Dallas when the guy was killing those cops.

I'm a little nervous being there this week. Depending on how today goes the hood rats could go ape chit.....

Yes sir Todd, we slow down around Oct - the end of the year. Then things pick back up after the first of the year.

Another sad deal to report concerning the shootout with deputy sheriffs and police in a neighboring county that I commented on a couple of days ago...the one deputy sheriff was killed instantly on scene, and the other deputy was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. His condition worsened and was put on life support early yesterday...he died a little while ago.

Say a prayer or a few words for these deputies families fellas if you don't mind. Both deputies were married with children.

On a side note and to vent a little...I hope they run that SOB who killed these two deputies through the express lane to get his death sentence. That's exactly what the DA's office is going to seek. You know what's really f'd up about this idiot who killed the two deputies...he has a son who is a deputy sheriff in Jones County, just two counties north of us, not even an hour drive.
