Mornin guys

Trying to get caught up on work so I can take the rest of the week off.

I'm not so sure what "time off" means.... Sure I can get a few days off, but the week prior I work twice as hard to get ahead. Then the week after there is twice as much work to get caught up on:facepalm:

You getting into running Mike?

Wanna run a marathon with me next year? I'd like to do another, or at least a half next year.
Trying to get back into it. In 2012 I ran about 2.5 miles a day all summer. 2013 I didn't do as good. 2014 was nothing. Last year I did a little better. This year been lifting weights and some elliptical but keep gaining weight. Running was the only way I could ever drop weight easily. Lifting I keep gaining weight and losing fat but 280 is too much to carry around all the time.

The only easy time I have to run is when I'm laid off. Not been many days the last 2 years.

It's a huge time commitment. When I ran the Marine Corps Marathon I think I ran over 600 miles that summer. 5 days a week of running. Towards the end of training a 10 mile run was considered a short run.

Working out period is a pretty big time commitment. One of my friends spends 2 hours a day in the gym every day he can. He's about 70 lbs of muscle more than he was 5 years ago. I just want to get back down to under 240. A lot of work ahead to do it or starvation one.

I know how you feel Mike. Went for my annual physical yesterday and was told if I didn't lose 30 lbs and start exercising more she was going to put me on a bunch of pills that I would be on the rest of my life. I'm sure not a fan of that idea so I guess that money in the saw account is going to go buy a treadmill instead.

Oh yeah, due to family history she decided I should go get a camera shoved up my butt. Oh happy days...

On the bright side, the drugs you get for that camera are pretty sweet though
