Evening hoes! Getting the Traeger smoker ready and now seasoning an 8.5 lb Boston butt to hit it come daylight tomorrow moanin'. Low and slow all morning and early afternoon, then gonna gangbust it about 350 degs on the Traeger for the last 45 mins or so to bark it up good on the outside. Gonna be grocery time at 4 o'clock when my Dawgs whip Auburns' ass this time around in the SEC Championship game!

Fug that. Up and down thenl ladder then lay down and reaching up under the gable of the metal roof of the shop with out falling off was a miracle. I ain't doubling down on that lol.

Had first checkup today after knee surgery today. Doc says i can start to bend it now and start therapy. Still no weight for 4 to 6 more weeks. He says it looks good and its not as loose. I hope to be walking by new years. This has been a long time down. I feel like im starting to see light now.

Busier than crap.... This new job is keeping me going, and I'm in class for the FD 2 nights a week, which won't wrap up until June and then start up again in September for another 7 months....

I had a "review" this week and they are extremely happy with me. They are wanting to put me in charge of maintenance on the entire farm, not just the egg plant where I'm at now.
So "slowing down" isn't in my future.

But they treat me really well.
