Lol, I split half a truck load of Shag bark before Thanksgiving over at the inlaws.
Time for a splitter, my hands, shoulders and back can't keep up.
I hear ya, wasn't bad the last few years doing a couple cord here and there. Now I'll be somewhere around 15 a year with the boilerThe best money I've ever spent was on a Huskee splitter.

I have the same splitter. I was gonna pick up a well used Super split from a neighbor but for what I do the Huskee just makes more sense. The best money I've ever spent was on a Huskee splitter.

Yeah I have the 22 ton (red one) also. I picked it up from a friend for 500 bucks and sold my old homemade splitter. The vertical split is what I use. Anything under 16" round doesn't get split here.Mine is just the small model. But I've yet to choke it down. What it doesn't split, it cuts thru. Great tool for the money.
Evening Steve, didn't get very far on the 041...had to order a 6002 bearing for the flywheel side...fuggin Stihl garbage. LolMenards had a 37 ton splitter on sale this weekend for $899.99. What a time not to have a grand in my pocket like the old days.
