Yeah. I figured the cylinder would be a total loss but it might clean up. Fingers crossed.. will know more after it comes out of the ultrasonic.

I'm glad you're out there hunting this stuff down. Shoulda grabbed another one from you.
It seems like I find some of that stuff, just check with me when you need another project

I wouldn't let that crank throw ya. I'd be more concerned of warpage at the cylinder base, there's a reason it chose right there to blow out. A piece of glass and sandpaper should tell the tale and if so, continue until flat. Just go in all directions, not just one.

I checked with a small machinist square looks ok.
The break in gasket was at case halves. The case half gasket was not trimmed flush they just put base gasket on and figured it would squish I guess. I would say poor assembly [emoji50]

IKR pretty disgusting at the piss poor work. Had to be at factory. He bought new has never been apart.
