the air is rarely dry down here in the south during winter. If I can survive winter camping at -40F you surely can figure out how to be comfortable in those kinda temps.

dry cold is different than a wet cold.
Good evening Randy, how are you doing tonight? I had a great day, even got a farmsaw in the mail today.
Yes sir, hope you as well Randy?
If it's freezing cold it aint wet no more. Hell I could go to the Army surplus store get a stack of wool blankets and then a bale of straw from the farm supply to weather that out. Spread out the straw on the ground and lay a blanket on it to keep the ground from soaking up your body heat cover up with the rest.
The barn only had 250 bales in it.
Should have burned really hot then. Lol
Oh my
#NorthernersOnly.comJust kidding, but with that kind of resource available a straw "igloo" could be thrown together in a matter of minutes, and be snug as a bug in a rug.
It can't be that bad, ya got chainsaws, and friends?the air is rarely dry down here in the south during winter.
