Sure is amazing what can be accomplished with a full engineering staff, and machine shop.

That is the replacement gear box for the mill. The original one was sitting on a platform that got bumped by an employee on a fork truck. Busted clean in half at the center hole on Monday. It was aluminum, had to have it tigged back up and cobbled back together. While it was apart dad had the engineer draw it up to have a new one made. The first draft he presented was just the broken half lol.

They dropped the finished one off this morning. Steel instead of aluminum this time. Funny how fast things get done when it benifit them
