Howdy Mark. Lol Rusty old vise parts...first time trying it. You ever done this?

No I haven't
I got the recipe but never tried it.
Be interesting to see the results.
I have my burnt vice that needs cleaning, thought might have to sand blast it.

If this doesn't work good, I'll have a friend of mine bead blast it. I'd like to polish some of the parts so I thought this would be better than blasting?? Just something else to screw around with. Lol

I was always curious lol
The successful people here on welfare and disability use it.
I know a little about some good moonshine though.

I'm ready to start handling tweakers lile the are in the Philippines. I've been says the police should sell tweaker tags (think deer tags) for years.

When meth was really bad around 10-15 years ago I remember the news telling people to be on the look out for people buying large amounts of this stuff.

I have soaked some small burnt stuff, now rusty, in 50/50 water and vinegar.
Worked rather well.
But after cleaned up it needs painted or coated with something or they will rust within a day.

That's what I read about this. I'll dry it good and paint or oil the parts.

You can blast with baking soda and it don't hurt chrome or glass.
