It's a square filed chain that will be for soft wood for awhile lol. It has a 35 degree top plate, and a good amount of forward lean.

It's all trial and error and figuring out what works best. Or you could just hit a nail. lol

Tonight's dickerin', took out the center of this mandrel. Think I will name this one Barbara. This look like what you were saying Kevin? @huskihl

Yep. I probably go deeper so my bit can get in there to chamfer the inside. Depends on the cutter. I use the little triangle shaped carbides about 3/8" long on a side.

I'll have to post a pic for you tomorrow of the cutter I came up with. I'm in for the night now.
