pioneer just has governor delete and dual port muffler
The 290 was a winter project has a opened up muffler and a 044 oem carb it's still a stock oem 029 motor

The 290 was really choaked up out of the box, I ran one for a couple of years, and it never let me down, it was dependable as anything out there.It just had a bad case of copd, lol.

Not bragging, but I have built a power saw with nothing else but a crankshaft to start with. Went fifty fifty AM and OEM.
Made a dandy of a saw.
