They were bred to drag badgers out of their dens, so mess with them at your own risk.
Yep they are bad little dogs, and don't usually like kids much. My parents have one and he is a cool little dog with lots of attitude.

evening chy hows you and can you show pictures of the welding we may be able to help you with it

Stick with it, they are fussy about having every last setting just so, once you get there though it's a beautiful thing. Also if you don't have one already a remote amperage control is very nice, I like a foot pedal myself, but the hand operated ones work as well.

I think with some practice you will do fine.
Thanks friends, showing my dull works today!! The first one is a training for but-welding seeing from the surface, next the same from the back. Material is steel sheet, 0.5mm thick.

Get yourself into a rhythm with your filler rod, once your have enough heat and are puddling the base material dip your rod, let it puddle again and dip again, then it's just dip-puddle, dip-puddle until you reach the end.

Everyone laughs at a dachshund until he's clamped on to your sack, hanging there wiggling like an alligator. Most fearless devoted dog I've ever seen, mine put two different pit-bulls in their place on different occasions. Hung from their neck like a bad necklace.
But he's just a little sweetheart.......

My parents dog is a bastid to kids and anyone else outside of the family lol. My shepherd loves to play with him.

If a dog comes around and wants to be mean, he just nails 'em right off the get go. If they want to be nice he'll be happy to play with them. He ain't a bully, but he don't take no *s-worde either.
