So tonight we walk in there and Bruce is in and he says hi to all of us. Eli looks at him and says "Bruce, when I grow up I am going to open up my own beer store and call it Eli's"

This is what I'm talking about! Alabama has it right.

They are trying to pass a law that anyone over 21 who gets charged with a sex crime against someone 12 and under must get casterated before they get out of prison.


Granted, in a ideal world they would spend no prison time because they'd be 6 feet under dirt, but I'm willing to compromise

My dad was from a town of 400. I would get dropped off for 2 weeks at a time in summer at my grandmother's place when I was a kid. Those were some of my best days as a kid. So much better in rural areas. I am where I am because of kids, my mom, my sisters and the ability to make 60 bucks an hour screwing in light bulbs!!! Well, not all the time. But sometimes I get those jobs. If I could land a job that allowed me to live the way I want to live, I would. Living on the 70 acres behind you would Make for an interesting thread FOR SURE.

I am spoiled. I can't go to a restaurant anymore and enjoy their food. I used to like TR, and we also have a pretty decent steak house in town here where we took everyone to eat after the GTG.

After raising our own cows, I can no longer order a steak anywhere without being extremely disappointed.


Dinger convinced me to not get in a hurry next year for fresh steaks. We will be letting our cow hang in the cooler at our butcher for a month before he puts a saw to it.
