What's a wafer?
Wafers ride in the ignition cylinder and follow the key cut grooves when you insert the key. If a single wafer much less two or more get stuck in their 'outboard position' in the cylinder...no key turning. The lock bar on the cylinder will not drop out of the way to allow the cylinder to rotate and crank the vehicle. You're dead in the water if it happens.

And moving on to another topic...

Others here have had opportunity to brag about their kids, well today if my turn. Here's an interview my oldest gave last week..

I am so incredibly proud of a young man that has been able to get his *s-word together at such a young age and is so bent on making sure others don't have to go through what he did.
You should be very proud my friend...incredible young man you have.

Some of you folks will know this but my Girlfriend does some voluntary work where she lives (footpath and common land upkeep) and has her ticket for tree work. They provide her with a saw but as you can see it is hardly used much (16 months old) so by running it on Aspen at least the fuel wont be a issue . The auto tune readjusted after i ran 3/4 tank through in near constant cutting and the bog off idle when set down for a short time is gone. Im sure the saw hasnt ever been run hard to get it working right.
I guess autumn is on the way now so the work party will be doing more timber jobs...

Wouldn't a shot of wd40 fix it?

That worked a couple of times in the past month or so but wouldn't do it this time. Tried WD40, One Lube spray, as well as LPS greaseless spray...the wafers themselves were actually worn down a little too much.

You know, you owe me one.

He told me that the day after I bought that twin he had another one come in. He sold it already.... I've been trying to get him to call me when stuff like that comes in.
