Tropical storm coming from the gulf that's gonna blow right through mid-Ga starting late tonight/early Fri morning has got us moving planes in hangars, strapping *s-word down, you name it. Weather models are calling for 6+ inches of rain all day tomorrow and high winds. Rivers and creeks will be swollen and outta their banks no doubt for several days.

My wife has been wanting a deck ever since we moved to our house. We finally bit the bullet and put one in this spring.

Our next project is a patio for a hot tub. She just has to make up her mind what she'd rather have. A patio or a different camper.

I gots one of the plastic decks too in the back ,it is low maintenence just pressure wash once on a while ,i still have mixed feelings over a wood one though

Trex was at least double the money over wood. I liked the no maintenance part of it.

I had mixed thoughts on wood too. My parents have had one for years and never touched it. They never stained it originally and it's still there, just had a weathered look to it.

My in laws and a few friends have wood decks that have been stained or treated and they end up having to keep up on it every couple years.
