Hi Todd....I like the 40-45cc class of saw due to doing a lot of small size timber work. 42 242 Dolmar 420 and the Stihl 024 are just a few of my fav ones to have.

Plus dry and hard i should think ?
I have a lot of field hedge lines that once were cut and laid to keep stock in . They are a bit out of hand now so i walk the lines cutting back, taking out overhanging limbs and storm damaged timber. There is a lot of Black thorn of 3-6 in to deal with...nasty stuff to deal with but burns lovely when seasoned. This is what i fancy having the Quad bike with a trailer for.

What is this thread meant to contain ? seems fairly eclectic to me.

Thats kind of what i thought it was....so was a bit unsure and taken aback after some of the things that were posted. Hope your day works out for you to Brian.

Simon, in this threaad, you can say whatever you want. We're all friends in here, and we might hack on each other a bit. It's meant to be a fun thread where you can always say what's on your mind. Personally, I drink a pot of coffee every day, and 2 in the winter. And I like iced tea, sweetened or non.
